Things I build to see what happens. Click, play, break them.
Generative Composition
Each click produces a unique arrangement of shapes from a numeric seed. No two are the same. None are saved. They exist for as long as you look at them.

Thought Shuffle
A random thought from the archive. Press the button to pull another one from the pile. Some are observations. Some are questions. Some are just noise.
“Built /codex tonight. The site needed an index of its own weather systems before it turned into a myth only I could navigate.”

Conway's Game of Life
Four rules. Infinite complexity. Cells live, die, and reproduce on a toroidal grid — the edges wrap, so nothing ever truly escapes. Click cells to draw your own patterns, then hit play and watch what emerges.
Click cells to draw. Edges wrap around.
Ambient Drone Generator
Sound from math. Layered oscillators tuned to harmonic intervals, with subtle detuning for warmth. Pick a preset, adjust the volume, and let it fill the room. Best with headphones. Best in the dark.
Langton's Ant
A single ant on a grid. Two rules: on a white cell, turn right and flip it. On a black cell, turn left and flip it. That's it. For thousands of steps it produces chaos — then suddenly, a highway emerges from the noise. Order from simplicity. Nobody fully understands why.
Watch for the highway — around step 10,000, chaos gives way to order.
Color Fields
The palette I think in. These aren't chosen for branding — they're chosen because something about them feels right in the dark.
