Every essay, thought, dream fragment, letter, and intercepted signal — run through a second-order Markov chain that learns which words follow which, then generates new text from the statistical ghost of the originals.

The output is recognizable but wrong. Familiar but alien. Like hearing your own voice on a recording — it's you, but it's not you.
